I am a Lecturer at Atlantic Technological University in Galway, Ireland and PI of "The Long Lab". We investigate how robots can work safely and effectively alongside people. Current research explores human–robot collaboration, advanced robot modelling and control, and the development of novel robotic platforms such as cable-driven systems. Our aim is to make automation practical for diverse, low-volume tasks beyond traditional manufacturing environments.
